Miniature House

In my childhood i use to have on the wall of my room many wooden 'houses' where i use to display miniature china dolls, tea cups (!!!), dolls and more. I have saved them through the years and lately renovated them (took off the roof and changed the background) to use them as a display for my work

Signature

I still haven't found a signature i would like to have on my pots (full name? initials? carved or painted on?). this is my latest experiment.

Preparing Wood Ash

Last years ash from our wood stove is washed, strained and dryed out, ready for the new batch of glaze.

Clay 'crisis'

The latest shortage in French stonewear leads me to experiment with new clay, checking the way they feel on the wheel, hoping my glazes will turn out nicely on one of them...
