Recommendation

My first ceramic book. An excellent book for those who are beginning their work with clay.

Glaze Test Result

Nine glazes on five different clays.
On the left column are the clays without glazing, the next column is 'yellow salt' glaze on the different clays, then the 'shino', the 'temmoku', 'ash' and so on. all fired to 1250 c in a reduction atmosphere.

Miniature House

In my childhood i use to have on the wall of my room many wooden 'houses' where i use to display miniature china dolls, tea cups (!!!), dolls and more. I have saved them through the years and lately renovated them (took off the roof and changed the background) to use them as a display for my work

.

Step 2

The next step in finding an alternative good clay i can use (see post from 5 of may). the different clay after bisque, waiting for glazing.
