Heavy Carbon Trap

On the Malcom's Shino glaze

Mistake

The slip which was supposed to be black turned out blue!!!
Probably cobalt instead of the black stain, which look alike.
hope some one will like it...

'Hands'

A tradition of eastern Jews to hang on the wall to protect the house - seems to be very popular lately…
these are my translations of the 'hand'

I send my posts and don’t really know if any one out there is interested… so like I said – I'm exited, thanks to all the viewers. I will keep posting and hope it gives something to each of you out there…

FIRE

These days I am reminded of the tremendous power of FIRE.
I'm familiar with its power to turn clay into beautiful pots... But when out of control!!! - like today - on Mount Carmel, it has such tragic, sad and destructive affects, the humen lives, the animals, the trees...
Praying this disaster ends soon.

Buttons & Beads

For my friend Michal who makes beautiful bags. Hope it will work out.

Black Slip

I feel time has come to start decorating my pots. Obviously ill have to find a gentle elegant and subtle way to go about it. I begin with simple black slip under the glaze.

Waiting For Customers

Autumn is always a slow time. These pots are sitting for a long time now – waiting for their owners to come and rescue them from the shelf…

A Board To Organize My Thoughts

I started using a board to have my tasks in front of me dynamic and changing. I'm very satisfied with this idea!

A big thanks to all that helped and supported and to my joyful customers!
Hope to blog more often now that I'm back.
The painting is one of Grace's Stern early painting – has this feeling of autumn..
