These days I am reminded of the tremendous power of FIRE.
I'm familiar with its power to turn clay into beautiful pots... But when out of control!!! - like today - on Mount Carmel, it has such tragic, sad and destructive affects, the humen lives, the animals, the trees...

I feel time has come to start decorating my pots. Obviously ill have to find a gentle elegant and subtle way to go about it. I begin with simple black slip under the glaze.
